K.L.B. D.A.V. College For Girls - Palampur is one of the pioneer in the field of woman education. Established in 1979 the Kanhia Lal Butail Dayanand Anglo Vadic college for girls, has undergraduate classes for girls, in the arts stream. In addition to this the institution runs regular classes for M.A. in four subjects Viz English, Hindi, Pol..Sc.& Economics. B.Ed. classes has been strated as a part this institution from this session i.e. 2005-06 after receiving due recognition from the National Council for Teachers Education, Regional office Jaipur & affiliation from the H.P. university, Shimla. Attached to the K.L.B.D.A.V. College for girls - Palampur is the B.L.B. Senior Secondry school for girls, it provides school education to girls & well facilitate. The teaching practise to B.Ed. students within the campus.
